Nobody's trying to take your guns. We just want common sense reforms - background checks, red flag laws. Why is that controversial?

Red flag laws? You mean where someone can report you and cops show up to confiscate your property without due process? That's literally unconstitutional. And 'common sense' is just code for incremental restrictions until law-abiding citizens can't defend themselves. Criminals don't follow laws - that's why they're criminals.

That would be a scary world. Just because someone doesn't like you own gun, or you say something they don't like, all of a sudden you are red flagged, that would be way too easy to infringe on someones rights

I think peoples problem with it is more about who decides where the line is, and what's too far, where does it Stop?
